Real overhead imagery of the Orem campus (USGS, public domain). Each circle is a college. Its size is that college's estimated busiest-hour use; its color is how much of that this budget covers. Click a circle or a row to take a college out of the plan or put it back — when you take one out, its share of the hardware money moves to the colleges that remain. The starting order uses public signs of readiness — courses, faculty leads, policies, grants — and is an estimate, not a UVU survey (Appendix A); you can override it freely. Positions are UVU’s official campus-map building pins (label points, ±≈20 m), and each college’s home building was verified on its own dean’s or advising pages: Smith Engineering east, Keller south core, Clarke and McKay north, Science west core, the Noorda east core — with Health & Public Service split between the Losee Center and its West Campus health hub across the bridge.

How to use this page. Set the money, then choose a college — on the map or in the list — to take it out of the plan or put it back, and the budget re-flows to whatever is left. A college you take out keeps the free tools UVU already licenses; only the local hardware money moves.

Each location's role was checked on its own UVU page. These sites have smaller, program-specific needs and would reach the service over the network through the same secure entry point; UVU publishes no enrolment figures campus by campus, so they are listed for later review rather than sized by guesswork.

Where the priorities come from: each college's estimated busiest-hour demand is its Fall-2025 population multiplied by usage rates measured at other universities (Cedarville, Berkeley, Michigan) — not at UVU. The proposed rollout order comes from public signs of readiness across the seven colleges: courses, faculty leads, policies and grants. Colleges marked “paid research pool” are those whose deep research work — mathematics, physics, engineering — would use a paid outside service for the hardest problems. Taking a college out never removes its people from the tools UVU already licenses; it only moves the local hardware money. est
